The Ayrshire Referees Association Development Scheme focuses on all members who are within their first 2 years of refereeing.

In line with the Association's guiding principle of "Growing Tomorrow's Referees", the Scheme allows its members unprecedented access to focused training material and discussion groups led by listed officials and also senior members.

The Development Academy is an exciting initiative and one that will hopefully reap benefits in the years to come by establishing the next batch of listed officials.

Any members wishing for observation to be carried out and subsequent development meetings are asked to contact the Association's Minor Grade Coordinator, Jamie Robertson at development@ayrshirerefs.co.uk.

We can also confirm David Rorison as our New Entrants Coordinator. This role is designed to help guide new entrants when starting on their refereeing career. This is designed to help new entrants from our in-person course, the SFA online course and the SQA route.
