Who We Are

The Ayrshire Referees Association is affiliated to the Scottish Football Association and is responsible for bringing together, developing and recruiting football referees throughout Ayrshire. We hold regular meetings at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock; weekly training sessions at St Matthew's Academy in Ardrossan and The Circuit in Irvine; and many other events to promote refereeing in our area throughout the year. The Association has been in existence for almost 70 years and continues to go from strength to strength. Classes running for a total of 9 weeks, for budding referees, are held a couple of times a year at St Josephs Academy in Kilmarnock.
