Ayrshire Referees Association

How do I become a Referee?

Whether it is a match on a public park, or the European Championships Final, the one thing that remains absolute is the role of the referee. So whether you fancy officiating at the highest level of the game, or stay refereeing in the local youth leagues, this is the place to start.

The Ayrshire Referee Association regularly runs classes for males and females.  The next classes commence on Monday 21st August 2017 at 7.00pm for a period of 9 weeks until Monday 23rd October, at St Josephs Academy, New Farm Loch, Kilmarnock (see map below).

If you would like to register your interest in these classes, please email Derrick Park at secretary@ayrshirerefs.co.uk and he will contact you to confirm your place on the course.

The classes run from 7.00pm until 9:00pm and are open to males and females, from the age of 16 years. The costs of the course is £30, which should be paid on either the first or second night. (Please note if this is not adhered to you will be asked to leave the class). Turn up on the night to register or contact Derrick Park at secretary@ayrshirerefs.co.uk

Every person attending will be subject to the new Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Disclosure Check)
