What We Do

The Ayrshire Referees Association is affiliated to the Scottish Football Association and is responsible for bringing together, developing and recruiting football referees throughout Ayrshire.  We hold regular monthly meetings at University of West of Scotland, Craigie Campus, Ayr; weekly training sessions at St Mathew's Academy in Ardrossan; and many other events to promote refereeing in our area throughout the year. Please see the Association Structure page for further information about the great and the good in Ayrshire. One very important aspect of refereeing is the social side of things; please see the Social pages for more information.

The Association has been in existence for 62 years and continues to go from strength to strength. Classes running for a total of 12 weeks, for budding referee's, are held once a year at St Josephs Academy.
